Things to do at the Niagara SkyWheel

The Niagara SkyWheel is the 53-metre Ferris wheel anchoring Clifton Hill, running since 2006 with enclosed, climate-controlled gondolas. A rotation lasts a few minutes and gives an elevated view over both the Horseshoe and American Falls, plus the rooftops of Clifton Hill below.

It is a privately owned attraction, not run by Niagara Parks, and priced separately from any Niagara Parks pass. On a summer evening the queue can run past 30 to 45 minutes, since the ride itself is short and turnover is the bottleneck.

For a higher, farther-back view with a revolving restaurant, the Skylon Tower a short walk away climbs to 160 metres; the two are not competing for the same view, just different heights and distances from the street.
